Communications - Strategic Websites

Strategic project websites are published by many creative and energetic LFP grantees. We encourage you to surf.

http://www.carie.org - Just push the ESPAÑOL button on their agency's new homepage and link to Comunidades Unidas Apoyando a Envejecientes (Communities United Supporting the Elderly). The website design includes features for older people. Every page can be enlarged for easier reading and services are offered by phone as well as on-line. http://www.carie.org
http://www.operationwellness.org http://www.operationwellness.org - Operation Wellness, from Ball State University in Muncie, IN, is a collaborative school and community-based initiative with one goal in mind -- to help citizens of Wells County become healthier tomorrow than they were yesterday! Their newly designed website uses a great "leafy" color combination and the Healthy Living section has advice we can all use!
http://preventmentalillness.org - Portland Identification and Early Referral Project (PIER) has a colorful, alluring website that tackles the difficult subject of psychosis and successfully delivers information to both a teenage population and their parents. http://preventmentalillness.org
http://www.kidzbiteback.com/ http://www.kidzbiteback.com - is the kids-friendly website of the Schools of Wellness in Orlando, FL. A social marketing campaign takes a "kids teaching kids" approach, helping fourth and fifth graders produce anti-obesity video commercials and this website!
