Deadlines    The program is now closed to new applications.
The final round of applications were received on:

• May 5, 2010,
• September 1, 2010, and
• January 5, 2011.

January applicants will be notified the third week of March whether or not their proposals are declined or if they are still under consideration.

Applicants and nominating funders whose proposals continue in review will be in close contact with the LFP office. In the following months, RWJF staff and advisors will ask for additional information regarding the applicant’s organizational capacity, community and funder engagement, and specific project objectives, budget and timeline.

In order for proposals to be recommended to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for an LFP award:

• any requests for additional information must have been satisfied;
• project objectives and budget must be agreed upon; and
• the first year’s matching funds must be confirmed.

Grant award dates would be determined at that time.
