Applicant Question and Answer
Conference Calls
On Tuesday,
May 13th, 2008 and Tuesday May 20th, 2008 at 2:30 PM Eastern Time, Local Funding
Partnerships will host optional conference
calls to answer questions about the application process.
These calls are intended for people who
have already reviewed the 2009 Call for Proposal and FAQ's on
this website and are seriously
considering applying. The material covered in both calls will be identical. Therefore, applicants are asked to join only one call, on the day of your choice.
Call specifics:
- Date: Tuesday,
May 13th, 2008 and Tuesday, May 20th, 2008.
- Conference Time: 2:30-3:30 PM Eastern
Time.
- Toll-free Phone Number: 1-800-214-0745.
- Participant Passcode: 228548
- After dialing the 800 number, you will be asked to enter the passcode on your phone and then placed on hold until the start of the call. We will start promptly at 2:30 PM ET.
- Phone lines will open at 2:20 PM ET on the day
of the call. You are encouraged to dial in 5-10 minutes
prior to the scheduled start time.
- There is no advance registration required.
- If you experience any technical difficulties AFTER
joining the call, dial *0 to be connected to the
conference call operator for assistance.
- Cost to the caller: no charge - it is a toll-free
number.
How will the call be organized?
- Promptly at 2:30 PM ET the call moderator will
welcome you and introduce the LFP Director, Pauline
Seitz.
- The conference call will be divided into three
general topics:
- the types of projects eligible and the role
of local funders
- the application process and documents required
- the way to develop an appropriate budget
- After each topic is introduced with a brief overview,
the call will be open to questions on that topic.
- You will be instructed by the moderator how to
enter the Q&A queue. Questions will be answered
in the order they are received.
May I attend both calls?
- The material covered in both calls will be identical, therefore we prefer you not join both
calls.
Will I be able to ask about my specific project idea?
- No. These calls are for general information about the application process. If you have a specific question, please either
phone our office at (609) 275-4128 or email your
question through our website. Our staff always welcomes
the opportunity to answer your questions.
